Paris, one of the most visited capitals in the world, is known for its strong expertise and know-how in hosting and organising events in major sectors for the destination such as sport and e-sport, science, culture, design and fashion, in addition to being an established innovation hub. The attractiveness of Paris is due to its prestige, its hotel capacity, its excellent infrastructures, and also thanks to its constant renewal, its new offers and experiences, which explain why an event can rely on an average additional participation of 20% when held in Paris.

Accommodation, venues The Paris region has 2,400 hotels, i.e. 75,000 rooms in 2 and 3 stars, 60,300 rooms in 4 and 5 stars. 6,392 new rooms are planned between now and 2024. Luxury is not to be outdone, since the capital has 92 5-star hotels and 12 "distinguished palaces", and offers many experiences aimed at high-end customers: fashion catwalks, helicopter tours, VIP services… The quality of the content offered is key to hosting MICE in Paris. Paris offers a large number of activities and experiences allowing you to discover Paris in a different way, using local know-how during (visits) workshops, gastronomy from street food to starred restaurants and bistronomy, and immersive behind-the-scenes tours of world-famous locations. Paris has 2,200 monuments, 191 museums, 1,000 art galleries and 9 opera houses. Paris is always innovative in terms of products and event venues, but also in major urban projects that aim to facilitate the reception of visitors, from their arrival in the territory to their departure. The strong values of resilience, responsibility, accessibility, and inclusiveness define the visitor experience, and these essential aspects are a subject of constant work and improvement for the Paris destination. The holding of major sporting events, such as the Rugby World Cup in 2023 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024, which should welcome 15 million visitors, will further support this permanent transformation.
